Emily Witkowski grew up singing covers in coffee houses with her father and playing violin, but it wasn’t until she learned how to play a bit of guitar that she started exploring songwriting. She now mostly writes and plays in collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Joseph Palmisano and looks to the folk artists she grew up listening to and the ones she sees live today for inspiration.
